Fundamentalism is a biblical position held by many churches, including ours. The early church in the book of Acts was "fundamental" in it's faith and practice just as we are today. It simply means that we believe in and teach the fundamental doctrines of the Bible. Doctines like the innerancy of the scriptures, the virgin birth, salvation by grace alone, eternal security, and believers baptism by immersion, as well as others. 

    There have been many attempts by "Modernists" in churches to equate the Bible with mythology and teach that many of the stories are allegorical. However, the Bible is literally true, accurate, practical, and relevant for our lives today. It is not an antiquated book of fairytales, it is the inspired word of the living God and his plan for man.
